Hello, visitor, and welcome to Divine Storm, Crystal's World of Warcraft blog thing. Online since June 13, 2009 this site has served as place where I can rant, rave, and show off my toons and love for the game. Be warned that there may be a bit of obsessing and even the use of colorful language. I also use a lot of abbreviations so if you are not familiar with them then you'll likely have no idea what I'm talking about. A little late (it actually took a server reset to get me to do this) but this woulda started about... last Sunday maybe? Anyway, my friend Tolvil from Dreadnaut had me invited to his guild's late night run run by Fiveoh (I mentioned this briefly in my last entry) to do some hardmodes and take a stab at Lich King. Well we never got that far as we had some trouble with a couple bosses before the end of raid time so we never got to do Lich King. Tuesday it was decided they'd do a fresh run and I got invited back to go with them. It was pretty awesome. Got heroic Storming the Citidel and did heroic Dreamwalker. Sunday we did heroic Rot and Fester but decided against heroic Professor as he is insane on heroic. We also got heroic Crimson Halls. Did a couple attempts on reg Sindragosa but we decided to call it and try and go back in Monday night. We got Sindragosa down after a few attempts (we were using a zerg method Lanturn taught us so took a couple tries to get it right) and then did Lich King. Crazy easy fight if you know what you're doing and very long to. Took 3 attempts (but I can only recall 2) and WE DOWNED LICH KING!! So I finally have my Kingslayer title on Zeruda. I was so friggin estatic I swore I was gonna pass out, lol. It was really exciting for sure. Fiveoh invited me back to go in again tonight for more heroic attempts so let's see how that goes.

So this week has been pretty eventful on WoW. Most I have raided all summer that is for sure. Sunday, Tolvil (a friend of mine in another guild) had me invited to ICC10 in an attempt to do Lich King. Unfortunately though we had some other bosses to do before then and we were unable to make it before our raid time was up. It was fun though. Tuesday morning before the raids reset the two of us went into an ICC25 pug and we managed to clear the first wing before raids reset. I thought that was pretty sweet because I usually dread the idea of pugging. Shield didn't drop though. :( Tuesday evening Paledragon invited me to do ICC25 with the guild and I went on my druid. Nothing dropped I could use but at least I got her badges. After that I went to Fiveoh's ICC10 heroic run and that was pretty sweet. We cleared the first wing on heroic and I got a neck off of Saurfang so I was pretty stoked on that. We also managed to do Dreamwalker on heroic so that was pretty sweet to. Wednesday I went into ICC25 on my rogue on a joint run with my Dad's guild and another guild and we cleared the first wing. I even got a ring upgrade for her. Thursday Dad invited me into ICC10 with his guild and I went again on my rogue and got a pants upgrade. I also hit friendly with the Ashen Verdict so I got another ring to. After the run I decided to buy her the T10 shoulders and gloves. I also made the ICC leather boots because I didn't realize how awkward her boots from H HoR looked. With the T9 pants you don't really see it but with the ICC pants it's obvious. They go up to the knees like usual but then they proceed to go up your legs about 1/3 of the way. So yeah, I had to replace them. She's looking mighty sexy now. 8D

And on a completely random note... How the heck can you not see the traps in ICC!? They're friggin huge! (Yeah... Wednesday was my first time doing ICC on a rogue so I was surprised when I saw one for the first time).

Dear Zeruda, I found a new love. It is called shammy healing. BUT I STILL LOVE YOU LOTS! Love, me. Lame humor aside, I find I really do enjoy shammy healing. Why the heck was I stupid and delete Yuzu!? Ah, oh well. I've been working hard on a new shaman over the past week and a half and from that I discovered my love for shaman healing (because obviously I didn't find it in elemental).

It was interesting last night. I had a couple fail BRD pugs and the best run seemed to be after our tank left and the enchance shammy decided to try tanking. He didn't hold threat entirely well and lost it mostly to the warlock but it was still fun and interesting. And we managed to clear the prison without a tank! We went on to do the Ring of Law and after that we queued again for another random and were gonna try and clear more before we found a tank and didn't get very far before that happened. I think the shammy was relieved about that, hehe. After that it was a very good night.

So after no entries for months and an undefined hiatus DS is back! And during that peroid of time lots has happened. I couldn't begin to tell you everything but I might be able to say a few things...

Well a biggie which is already in the past and stuff but I feel like sharing it anyway because it made a big deal on my thoughts and stuff with WoW. Basically what happened was one night we were doing ICC25 and a guildie decides like 30 seconds before raid that she was changing her main from her mage to her shaman. All dkp switched over and stuff. It seemed like no big deal at the time but then it came to Marrowgar and the shield I'd been wanting forever drops. We both end up bidding the same dkp on it and are forced to do a rolloff. Well she ends up winning and I become pissy. On trash leading to the next boss I was so mad I faked a DC and never came back on. Seriously though I don't usual get so mad about loot. Like if it was anyone else it wouldn't be such a big deal. But the fact that she won that after my paladin being my main for 3 years and her shammy not even being her main for maybe 5 minutes was just... urgh. Not to mention this isn't the first time that woman stole won loot from me (but I'm not going there).

So after deciding I wasn't gonna come back on for a while I ended up playing my horde pally on my friend's server for a while (which I got to 80 btw). Eventually when I did come back to EI I figured I was gonna pull all my toons from the guild and look for something else. Well I got to about the third toon and then Az spoke to me. I told him about what happened and I guess I wasn't the only one who made a huge deal out of it. From what he told me two others on the council thought it unfair that she got the shield as well. Milo even told me the next day about what happened and Flaane even apologized to me. After that I realized I could have made a huge mistake. These guys are really awesome. ;-; I'm a fool to have tried to leave the guild. Next time I decide that I'll have Z strap me to...something (I dunno what but I'll figure something out...).
